SMITH - ACKER.

Lloyd Smith and Miss Ada W. Acker were united in marriage at the
bride's home on West Allegheny street, Martinsburg, last evening at
8.30 o'clock by Rev. E. R. Deatrick, pastor of the Reformed church, the
impressive ring ceremony being used. The bride was handsomely attired
in a coat suit and carried a bouquet of white roses. Following
congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Smith left immediately for a honeymoon
trip to Philadelphia, Atlantic city and other points of interest in the
east. Upon their return they will be at home after May 6 on the
bridegroom's farm near Martinsburg. The bride is a former school
teacher and employe of the Morrison's Cove bank, being with the latter
for the past six years. She is a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Acker of
Martinsburg. The bridegroom is a widely known school teacher, having
successfully taught several terms at various points throughout the
county.
