Engagement Announced.

  Mr. and Mrs. John Schimminger, of 1914 Seventh avenue, have announced 
the coming marriage of their daughter, Miss Wilhelmina Smith, to Mr. 
Michael G. Gressler, of 1411 Seventh avenue.  The ceremony will take 
place at St. Mary's church, at 8 o'clock on the morning of February 6.

Gressler - Smith.

  Mr. Michael George Gressler, of 1432 Seventh avenue, and Miss 
Wilhelmina Helen Smith, daughter of Mrs. J. Schimminger, of 1914 
Seventh avenue, were united in marriage with nuptial mass at St. Mary's 
German Catholic church yesterday morning at 8 o'clock by the pastor, 
Rev. Father George J. Bock.  They were attended by Mr. Frank Gressler, 
a brother of the groom, and Miss Gertrude Smith, a sister of the bride.  
Following the wedding mass, a reception was held and a wedding 
breakfast served at the home of the bride's parents.  At 11 o'clock the 
young couple departed for a honeymoon to be spent in Detroit and other 
western cities.  Mr. Gressler is employed as a machinist by the Pennsy 
company.  His bride is a popular young lady of the city, well known in 
the younger social set.  On their return they will make their home with 
the bride's parents.
