MRS. EMMA B. SMITH
 
  Mrs. Emma B. Smith, 254 Main st., Northwood, died Sunday at 11:30 
p.m. at Tyrone Hospital after a lengthy illness.  
  She was born Feb. 6, 1887 at Port Matilda RD, the daughter of John R. 
and Christine Stellar Blowers.  She was married June 1, 1921 at Tyrone, 
to Robert A. Smith, who died Feb. 27, 1958.
  Surviving are a brother, Russell R. Blowers, Bellwood, and several 
nieces and nephews.  
  She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Tyrone.  
She had assisted her husband who operated a grocery store at Northwood 
for a number of years.  
  Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson 
Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. John Morbeto.  Burial will be in 
Blair Memorial Park.  Friends will be received at the funeral home on 
Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
