WESTMINISTER, MD., November 24.---Charles F. Smith, a wealthy 
and highly respected citizen of this city, died suddenly of 
heart disease this morning.  He was the brother of Hon. J. E.
Smith, judge of the Circuit Court.  His wife is a daughter of 
Capt. Fitzgerald, late of Baltimore, deceased, of the well-
known old firm of Booth & Fitzgerald, shipping merchants.  
The deceased was a banker and broker doing business in 
Baltimore, and a member of the Baltimore Stock Exchange, and 
was well known in banking circles there.  He was about 47 
years of age, and leaves a wife but no children.  The funeral 
will take place from St. Paul’s Church, Baltimore, on Monday.
