Plummer Rites held Sunday;

   Grover Cleveland Plummer aged 52, of McCrory, Rt 1, died in the Woodruff 
County Nursing Home Friday. He was retired farmer, veteran of World War II 
and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

   Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at two o'clock 
at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Jackie Maddox. Burial 
was in Pumpkin Bend cemetery.

   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lorene Fisk Plummer; a daughter, 
Mrs. Mary Linda Watkins of McCrory ; two brothers, John Plummer of McCrory 
and Joe McCarver of Patterson; and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Thomas of 
Patterson, Mrs. Lena Bolden of Weldon and Mrs. Ester Luker of Colt.

  Pallbearers were Donald Eugene Meredith, Keith Plummer, Tommy Plummer, 
Kenny Plummer, Bobby Plummer and Lloyed Plummer.
