MRS. LINDA L. DALTON BURIED WEDNESDAY;

   Mrs. Linda L. Dalton, aged 64, died at her home on Rt. 2 Monday 
afternoon about 3:00 p.m. The widow of T.C Dalton, she had lived most 
of her life in Woodruff County. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Meredith of McCrory, and 
Lena Bolin of Tupelo; and three sons, Joe McCarver, John Thomas Plummer 
and Cleve Plummer, all of McCrory.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Pumpkin Bend by 
Rev. Freeman McMinnis. Burial was in Pumpkin Bend cemetery by 
Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home.
