"PATIENT DIED ENROUTE HERE - One of two patients being brought here by 
ambulance to Hospital; Wife seriously ill, also"


Andrew Jackson (Jack) Hudson, 63, northwest of Fayetteville, died Tuesday 
morning en route to City Hospital, where he and Mrs. Hudson were being 
taken after several days illness. The body will rest at Nelson-Savage 
Funeral Home pending completion of arrangements.


He is survived by three daughters, Martha Hicks, Mrs. Goldie Barker and 
Mrs. Sylvia Rhine, and by two sons, Virgil and Paul; and by one grandchild, 
Bluford Leroy Hicks, 1 yr. His parents, James Henry, Sr. and Artemiza 
Anglin Hudson, of the Weddington Gap community, preceded him in death.


Mrs. Hudson is critically ill at City Hospital.
