PETITION TO THE CONGRESS BY CITIZENS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY
                    [NA:HF, 24 Cong., 1 sess.:DS]
                                             [Referred December 29, 1835]
To the Honorable, the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States in Congress Assembled.
The petition of the undersigned Citizens of Washington County in the 
Territory of Arkansas Respectfully represent to your honorable body that 
your petitioners labor under great inconvenience for the want of a Mail 
rout leading from Fayettville the Seat of Justice of Washington County 
A. T. to the Seat of Justice of Barry County Mo. a distance of about 
sixty miles-Your petitioners therefore respectfully request your honorable 
body to pass a law establishing a Mail Rout from Fayetteville A. T. by 
Pelham's farm in Osage Prarie to the Seat of Justice of Barry Co. Mo. and 
your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray &c
