WILLIAMS, WILLIE  DoB: July 25, 1920   DoD: Feb. 7, 1995    Ref: 1995008

Mr. Willie Williams of Marianna died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, at the Veterans
Administration Medical Hospital.  He was 74.
He was born Jul 25, 1920, in Cotton Plant, Ark., and was affiliated with Eagle
Zion M.B. Church.  He was an Army veteran of World War II with an honorable
discharge and rank of sergeant.  He also was retired from the Lee County School
System, and was active Royal Arts degree mason.
Survivors include three daughters, Savannah Williams Hancock of the home, Betty
Williams of Marianna, and Barbara (Donald) Branch of Clarendon; two sons,
Douglas Williams and Dennie Hines; two sisters, Hazel Dogan of Chicago and
Lvetta Smith of St. Louis, eight grand-children, and a host of other relatives
and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 1995, at Mt. Calvary
M.B. Church in Marianna with Rev. Leoster Webb officiating.
Burial will be in the Paradise Garden Cemetery n Edmonson, Ark., under the
direction of Marianna Mortuary.
