JIM L KIMBLE
2 10 1912-2 8 1993

Mr. Jim L Kimble of Palestine died today, Feb. 8, 1993, at the Forrest City Convalescent
Home in Forrest City. He was 80. Mr. Kimble was born March 10, 1912, in St Francis County
and lived here all of his life. He was self-employed and was a member of the First Baptist
Church in Palestine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Johnson Kimble, in
1989. He leaves three sons, Marvin Smith of Horseshoe Lake, Dean Smith of Palestine and
Paul Smith of Memphis; two daughters, Johnnie Turner of Sardis, Miss. and Joyce Studard of
Millington, TN; one sister; and 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and three great
great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 1 pm at Stevens
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Park
Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
