LEONARD EARL "CAT" ALSUP
7 26 1925-3 21 1993

Mr Leonard Earl "Cat" Alsup of Palestine died Sunday, March 21, 1993 at his home. He was
67. Mr Alsup was born July 26, 1925 in Goodwin to Bob Alsup and Florence Dover Alsup. He
had lived in Palestine most of his life where he was a truck driver. He was a veteran of
World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Hardin Alsup in 1971, and by a
son, Leonard Alsup in 1975. He leaves two daughters, Brinda Herron and Bobbie Smith, both
of Palestine; two brothers, Bobby Alsup and William Alsup, both of Palestine; and three
sisters, Hazel Strauss of Palestine and Helen Lowe and Joan Latham, both of Waynesville,
NC; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23 at 2 pm at
Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev William Witcher officiating. Burial will be in
Salem Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
