OLIVER EUGENE ADAMSON
12 18 1926-4 14 1993

Mr. Oliver Eugene Adamson of Forrest City, died Wednesday, April 14, 1993 at the VA
Hospital in Little Rock. He was 66. He was born Dec. 18, 1926, in St Francis County to
Chester Adamson and Roxie Shirley Adamson. He lived in Indiana before moving to Forrest
City two years ago, and was a retired landscaper and a veteran of World War II. He was a
member of Village Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Louise Adamson of
Forrest City; two daughters, Beverly Spikes of Ponce de Leon, FL, and Cindy Moon of
Dalton, Ala’; one son, Billy Adamson of Indianapolis; one step-daughter, Arline Jackson of
Little Rock; one step-son, Gary Adamson of New castle; four brothers, Jim Adamson, Bill
Adamson, James Adamson and Carroll Adamson, all of Illinois; a niece and nephew, Dave and
Becky Rushing of Indiana; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great
grandchild. Funeral services will be Friday April 16 at 4 pm at the Stevens Funeral Home
chapel with Bro. Jim Smith assisting. Burial will be in Hughes Cemetery under the
direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
