One of Forrest City's most resourceful and capable businessmen is the energetic
James G. Oursler, co-owner of Oursler Parts Co., of both Forrest City, opened in
1938, and Brinkley in 1952. He started in the parts business in 1935 working out
of his brother's store in Marianna, the partners, W. C. and James Oursler. Mr.
Oursler and his wife, the former Evelyn Watson of Benton, Ark. are members of
the Methodist Church. He is a charter member of the Country Club, helped
organize the local Legion Post, and was a member of the Rotary Club.
