Mrs. Jurene Rickard

Mrs. Jurene Rickard, 95, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at Sparks
Regional Medical Center.
  A native of Coal Hill, she was a daughter of the late John and Lillie Butts
Jackson, widow of Truman Rickard, member of Parkhill Church of Christ and
American Legion Auxiliary of Post No. 31, and a former saleswoman for Hunts.
  She is survived by four grandchildren, Harl Schoeppe, Jon Schoeppe, and Emma
Campbell, all of Fort Smith, and Mary Franklin of Coffeyville, Kan.; three
great-grandchildren, Casey Schoeppe, Taylor Schoeppe, and Robin Couthren; and
two nieces.
  Funeral was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith
with Rev. Thomas Hogland officiating. Burial was at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith.
  Pallbearers were John Schoeppe, Harl Schoeppe, Taylor Schoeppe, John Sweat, Jay
Sweat, and Michael Rekemeyer.
