FortWorth-Robert Carl Larson, a retired truck driver, died Tuesday of a 
heart attack at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 72. A memorial sercice was at 
10 a.m. today at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Mr. Larson was born in Glen, 
Mich., and had lived in Fort Worth 22 years.He served in the Army during 
World War ll. Survivors: wife, Betty Larson of Fort Woth; four sons, Robert 
Carl Larson ll and Larry D. Larson, both of Fort Smith, ARK., Greg Larson of 
Washington, D.C., and Steven Larson of Fort Worth., two stepsons, David 
McWhirter and Bobby Ranbo both of Fort Worth; one daughter, Lana Hennig of 
Fort Worth; two stepdaughters, Donna Posey of Fort Smith, ARK. and Phyliss 
McWhirter of Fort Worth; one brother, Jack Larson of Jackson, Tenn.; 20 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Printed in the Times Record 
newspaper in Fort Smith Arkansas on Thursday  26 Oct 1989.
