SouthWest American 
carbaugh Funeral- The funeral of the John Carbaugh, the Ft Smith brick 
manuafacturer, who died in Texas while in search for better health,took place 
family residence on Van Buren Road Thursday morning under the auspices of the 
Christian Science Church with Herbert M Beck officiating. Members of the 
Woodsmen of the World attended in a body. The burial was in Oak cemetery. The 
pallbearers were bert Hoffman,W H Doyle,Henry Spencer,C.L Cassidy,Frank 
Fenolio, and a George Rye. 

Additional Comments:
This obit was very odd, this obit has him buried in Oak cemetery,findagrave 
has him buried in Forrest Park Cemetery. His obit was in the Southwest 
American on Jan 21,1910. Please contact the Ft Smith Library on further help 
on where he is buried or call the Forrest Park cemetery to see if he is buried 
there.
