Dottie Drucilla Cave, a 102 year old former 
resident of Yankton and late of Stayton (Oregon) 
died Jan 15 1997 in Stayton.

Services will be at 10 a m Saturday Jan 18 at 
Columbia Funeral Home. Burial will be in Yankton, 
Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Cave was born March 16, 1894, in Snowball, Arkansas 
to Tom and Elsie Woodard. She and Newton Cave were married 
Sep 5, 1909, in Merkle, Texas.Ê Mrs. Cave was a homemaker 
and worked in cotton fields (when she was young). She and 
her husband moved to Yankton in 1946. Mr. Cave died in 1969.
She moved to Stayton in 1988.

Survivors include her sons: Bonnie Cave of St. Helens 
and Hardy Cave of Arizona; daughter: Mauzelle Boozer of 
Beaverton (Oregon); 35 grandchildren and numerous great 
and gr-gr grandchildren. At the time of her death she had 
many Gr-Gr-Gr Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 
seven children.
