MORGAN, Clara: Clara Morgan was born in Boles, Arkansas on February 12,
1901 to George W. and Margaret Ellen (Tolleson) Rose. She was the 5th of
13 children of whom she and one sister are the only ones living. She was a
teacher at Johnson Creek and Mill Creek before marriage. She married
Richard Phillip Morgan (deceased) September 17, 1924 at Boles. She has
lived in Scott County her whole life except for a couple of years spent
in Oklahoma. She always wanted to move back to Boles, as nowhere else
was home. Clara and Richard had two children, Janice Rogers of Boles,
and Richard F. Morgan also of Boles, 6 grandchildren and 1 great
grandchild. Her hobbies are handwork and gardening. Ms. Morgan was a
charter member of the Boles Freewill Baptist Church, and is still a
very active church member.
