	The material transcribed below is from a special edition of the 
Scott County Advertiser newspaper of 3 April 1991, entitled "A Salute to 
Scott County Citizens 90 Years and Over." The interviews were done as
part of a celebration of the Bank of Waldron's 90th anniversary. They are
arranged alphabetically for presentation here. Pictures were included 
with these short biographies.

BALLARD, Ivis: Ivis Ballard was born in Scott County on February 28,
1901 to Thomas J. and Mollie Johnson Ballard. With the exception of two
years spent in Wyoming, Ivis has spent his entire life in Scott County. On
January 25, 1920 he married Attie May Craig who had been his sweetheart
since first grade. Children of the couple are Wesley Leon Ballard of 
Waldron and T.J. Ballard (deceased.) Ivis attended school at Waldron and
Union Grove, and attends the Pentecostal Church of God.
