  John Edward Kiefer, 94, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died of Cardiac Dysrhythemia
Sunday May 22, 1994 in Sparks Regional Medical Center where he was an inpatient.
He was born May 6, 1900 in Randolph County Nolan, Arkansas.
  He was preceded in death by his wife Lillie (Weaver) Kiefer, parents George
and Mary Gertrude (Sauvaine) Kiefer, three sons Charles Edward Nov. 23, 1931,
Robert Loyd April 23, 1971, Joe Harold of the U.S. Army Jan. 4, 1967, one
grandson Donald Ray Freeman July 25, 1980.
  Survived by one daughter Shirley Marie, four sons James Edward, Paul Edward,
Thomas Jr., and John Wayne, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
  Cremation rights accorded under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
  Cremains Chesser Cemetery, Pocahontas Arkansas.
