Obituary

Mrs. Verrena Elizabeth Kinnerson

     Mrs. Verrena Elizabeth Kinerson, 78,  of Hatfield, died Saturday in a
Ft. Smith hospital.  She was born October 24, 1909 at Otto, Tex.
     Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Zafra Church of
Christ with Bro. Riley Donica officiating.  Interment was in the Mollie Gann
Cemetery under the directin of Geyer-Quillin Funeral Home.
     Pallbearers were Guy Pittman, Leonard Wolf, Joe Murphy, Lynn Murphy,
Henry Kinnerson Jr., and Marty Henry.
     Mrs. Kinnerson was the daughter of the late James Leonard Pittman and
the late Mrs. Mary Frances Ogden Pittman and was united in marriage to Scott
Kinnerson on August 17, 1930.  He preceded her in death on December 27,
1970.  She had made her home in Polk County since 1930, was a housewife, a
member of the Hatfield Chapter of the Eastern Star, and a member of the
Zafra Church of Christ.
     Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Vonnabeth Glover, Hatfield, Mrs. Mary
Ella Fairless, Hatfield; three brothers, James Leonard Pittman Jr., Maude,
Tex., Ralph Ray Pittman, Port Lavaca, Tex., Matthew Rehamond, Houston,
Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Linnie Jeffries, North Little Rock, Mrs. Gladys
Wolf, Hatfield, Mrs. Corrine Jones, Quinlan, Tex; step-mother, Mrs. Ella
Pittman, Marlin, Tex.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
     One son and one daughter preceded her in death.
