Mrs. Ann Mahan HUGHES, 84, widow of R.D. HUGHES, died Sunday in Trezevant
Manor at Memphis. She was born in Blytheville and was a lifelong resident.
She was a charter member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a son, Ross D. HUGHES of Blytheville; Two brothers, Dr.
Tom MAHAN of Ellenton, Fla., and John MAHAN of Princeton, Ky.; A sister,
Mrs. Ruth TANNER of Chapel Hill, N.C.; Five grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, the Rev.
Bob SMITH and the Rev. Thad GRIMSTEAD officiating, with Cobb Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
