Anthony (Andy) B. Sweeney, 80, of Shreveport, La., and formerly of
Texarkana,died Tuesday in a Shreveport hospital.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight in the East Memorial Chapel.
Services with the Rev. Edward R. Maloy officiating. Burial will be in the
Calvary (Calvery) Cemetery.

Sweeney was a commercial salesman with Ralston Feed Company and the Fabric
Firehose Company.  He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the
Knights of Columbus, the United Commercial Travelers, and American Legion.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Micheal O'Brien of Tucson, Ariz., a
brother, George E. Sweeney of North Hollywood, Calif., and a number of
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ed Smith, Anthion Sava, Harvey Howard, Walter
Fant,Albert Frey, T. E. Johnson, P. D. Baxter, and Robert Taylor.
