"Gone But Not Forgotten"
transcribed on April 12, 2003 typed up Oct 26, 2003
COMPLETE TRANSCRIPTION

Driving Directions: Going from Oark, driving on Highway 215,
it will then change into Highway 103. From this Juntion (Highway
103) drive 5.9 miles. You will then turn to a VERY SHARP left on
County Road 4490, You will drive 2.7 miles to Sherman Cemetery and
keep driving about 2 miles on the right out in a field will be this
cemetery.

Another way is driving to Ozone. And at Ozone you will turn onto
County Road 4490 going west (don't "y" off at 4260) Follow this
road until near the end and this cemetery will be in a field on the
left... (from this cemetery about 2 miles you will get to Sherman
Cemetery.)

This cemetery is an older "family" cemetery located out in a field.
We just "happen" to run into it when we were going to Sherman
Cemetery. There is no parking, or no gate into it. There is a barb
wire fence surrounding it. Many of the stones were in pretty good
shape, still pretty readable for being as old as they were. Some I
had to feel my way through them. If anyone would like headstone
pictures scanned and sent to you or if you know any more data on
these people please contact us as we would like to get them as
accuratly documented as possible. In my search to find the
cemetery name I found some additional information on these people,
that data will be under the transcription in ( ) I got the data off
of geneology websites, so use only as a guideline in your own
research. I transcribed all the stones that were there, and so
making this a COMPLETE TRANSCRIPTION. There is an alphebetical
listing at the begining of the transcriptions letting you know who
is buried there, the transcriptions are under that.
Thanks, Robert and Rosa Cline
