				D. C. REEVES OBITUARY

Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock from the chapel of the Ralph
Robinson and Son Mortuary for D. C. Reeves, 68, resident of Jefferson county for
the past 20 years, who passed away at 11 o'clock Thursday night at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. F. M. Harper, 2502 West Pullen street, following an illiness lasting
for some time.Services were conducted by the Rev. J. Ben Wofford, pastor of the 
Calvary Baptist church.Burial was on the family lot in Lee cemetery at Double Wells
in charge of Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary.
Pallbearers:  active - Finis Smith, Jack Robinson, H. A. Stuckey, Jess Green,
D. L. Ridgeway and James Calvert.
Honary- Ott Lamar, W. E. Bobo, Ervin Hulse, Tom Barnes, Dr. J. S. Spillyards,
Dr. T. J. Cunningham, Wayne Simpson.
