			SAMMY DEWEY SMITH

Sammy Dewey Smith, 36, of Tuckerman died Friday. May 1 in Jonesboro. He 
was a self-employed truck driver and a member off Hickory Grove Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include one son, Sammmy Maries Smith of Newark; one daughter,
Cynthia Suzan Anne Smith of Newark; his fiance, Nancy Rowell of Jonesboro;
five brothers, Elmer Smith of Flint, Mi., Gary Smith of Flushing Mi., 
Huey Smith of Brookland, David Smith of Mountain View, Randy Smith of 
Amagon, three sisters Linda Book of Flushing MI., Judy Caldwell of Laport
IN., and Mary Hendrix of Tuckerman.  and his parents, Ralph Sam and 
Myrtle Fayon Smith of Amagon.

The funeral was to be this afternoon at 2:30 at Midway Church of Christ 
with Llaano Robinson officiating. Burial was to be at Walnut Grove 
Cemetery, with Dillingers Funeral Home in charge.
 
Pallbearers were to include Randy Davis, Kenny Davis, Ralph Davis, Frankie
Davis, Jimmy Phillips, Jim Heatherly,Joey Smith and Harvey Caldwell II.
