MRS. ALICE HELMS PASSES AWAY THIS AFTERNOON AT 1:20.

Mrs. Alice Helms, 59, wife of W. H. Helms, 400 Hazel street,passed away
this afternoon at 1:20 in a local hospital, following a months
illness.Mrs.Helms was born in Arkansas Sept 8, 1889, and was a member 
of the Church of Christ.
Surviving other than her husband are three sons. Arville Helms of
California. J.C. Helms of Ingleside Route. and Ralph Helms of
California;four daughters. Mrs. Beatrice Cannon of California, Mrs. Ola
Flynn of Harrisburg and Mrs. Eutha McCustion of Ingleside Route and 
Miss Helen Helms of the home; and one brother, Ed Gilbert of Lepanto.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 O'clock by
Elder Harry Pickup of Tuckerman, at Martin cemetery near Johnstown 
unless it is raining, in which event the service will be conducted in the 
chapel of Dillinger Funeral Home. The Dillinger Funeral Home is in charge of 
the arrangements.
