Elsie Lorene Butts-Dyer
November 7, 1918-September 10, 1983
  Elsie Lorene Dyer of Newport Arkansas died Saturday September 10, at 
the age of 64. She was born November 7, 1918 in Mena Arkansas to William
Riley Butts and Margaret Winford-Butts. She was a retired waitress.
  Survivors are two sons, Samuel Wayne Dyer of Grubbs Arkansas and Ronnie
Orville Dyer of Jacksonport Arkansas; two daughters Laruil Genette
Vandiver of Newport Arkansas and Betty Jane Kimberling of Diaz 
Arkansas; one cousin, Othaniel Safirt of Grubbs Arkansas.
  Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Jacksonport 
Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Ed Morris presiding. Burial will be at 
Ballows Chapel Cemetery.
  Pallbearers are Frank Darby, Johnny Redd, Morris Dunnivan, Larry 
Carter, E.O. Vanoven, and Billy George.
