Margaret(Maggie) Butts December 15, 1948 Newport Daily Independent 

Mrs. Butts Rites set for Thursday; Died in hospital
  Mrs. Maggie Butts, 67, resident of Newport, died in today at 6;15 a.m. 
at a Newport hospital after being found seriously ill in her home 
yesterday.
  She was a native of Tennessee but had resided in Arkansas several 
years.
  She is survived by two sons; Jessie Barrons and Cleo Barrens and a
daughter; Mrs. Elsie Dyer, all of Newport, and a sister, Mrs. Callie
Safirt, of Grubbs.
  Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Bellows Chapel
cemetery by the Rev. Walter Ivie, Assembly of God Pastor. Mrs. Butts 
was a member of that church.
  The Dillinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
