"WALKER CEMETERY
by Mrs. Roy Madden"

"Walker Cemetery, also called Cow Lake Cemetery, is in the Cow Lake
Community in the northeastern part of Cow Lake Township. This cemetery
is on a school bus and mail route about six miles northeast of
Beedeville. At the turn of the century it was used for both Negroes and
whites, but no markers could be found in the section used for Negroes.
There are many, many more graves here that have no markers. All visible
and readable markers were copied 24 Apr 1968, including all information
listed on each marker."
