"BOWEN'S RIDGE CEMETERY
Inventory made 4 Jan 1964 by James Logan Morgan"

"This cemetery, which appears on some maps as the 'Briar Fork Cemetery',
is located at Briar Fork, a point where two roads joined. The cemetery
is located in either the northeast corner of the southeast quarter or
the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of section 15, in township
10 north, range 2 west. The spelling of John Boen's name is the correct
spelling of the family name. However, the designation of the area as
'Boen's Ridge' has appeared very rarely in Jackson County records. The
cemetery is located on the north and south sides of a country road which
runs east into Arkansas Highway 145."
