The Pine Bluff Commercial 16 Feb 1937
R. F. Crutchfield, 69, well known Grant county farmer, died at his home near 
Sheridan yesterday morning after a short illness of pneumonia.

A native of Mississippi, he had resided in Grant county for 66 years, moving 
to Arkansas with his parents in 1871.

Survivors include six sons, Jim, Tom, George, Martin, Vonnie and Johnnie 
Crutchfield; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Freeman, Mrs. Margaret Winkers, and 
Mrs. Ada Smith, all of Sheridan.

Funeral services were held at Philadelphia cemetery near Sheridan, conducted 
by the Rev. Robert W. Glover of Sheridan, assisted by the Rev. J. W. Kelly of 
Sheridan, and the Rev. O. W. Parts, of Sheridan.

Burial was in Philadelphia cemetery in charge of Rufus T. Buie mortuary, 
Rison, and pallbearers were James Gregory, J. T. Clark, J. W. Berry, Bob Mc 
Garity, Tom Paty, Elbert Harrington.
