GLENWOOD -- Ettie Ward, 92, of Glenwood died Monday, March 28, 1994, at a
local nursing home.
She was born Jan. 4, 1902 at Lucky community to John Henry and Becky Jane
Jones Whisenhunt.  She was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of
Mount Tabor Free Holiness Church.  She was predeceased by her husband, H.
L. Ward, a son, Royce Ward, and daughter, Elvie Wright.
Survivors include two sons, Lois Ward of Glenwood and Doyce Ward of
Mountain Pine; one daughter, Bonnie Rogers of Slidell, Louisiana; three
sisters, Julie Wisener and Gracie Gillaspy, both of Glenwood, and Eveline
Sosebee of Weatherford, Texas; 18 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and
great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Tabor Community Church
with Brother Leon Buzzard officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith
Funeral Home of Glenwood.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
