IRENE THOMASON
Irene Thomason, 82, of Hot Springs died Thursday, June 5, 1997, in a local
hospital.
Born Oct. 11, 1914, at Hot Springs, she was retired from Oaklawn Park, a
homemaker and member of Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Luther Thomason of Hot Springs; a son and
daughter-in-law, James Harold and Marilynn J. Thomason of Hot Springs, a 
daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Mark Green of Bonham; 17 
great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Brother
Herbert Watts officiating.
Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery.

FLORENCE E. SHUFFIELD
PEARCY -- Florence Estalee Shuffield, 94, of Pearcy died Thursday, June 5, 1997.
Born April 20, 1903, at Belmont, Mississippi, to Signor s. Byram and Roxie
Shook Byran. She was a member of Pearcy Baptist Church and predeceased by her 
husband, Charley Shuffield, and a granddaughter, Carol Lynn.
Survivors include her son, Gerald of Hot Springs; a grandson and
granddaughter-in-law, Ronald and Tami of Mountain Pine; two great-grandsons, 
Nathan and Derek, both of Mountain Pine; a sister, Eula Whitfield of Hot 
Springs; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in
Glenwood.
Burial will be in Old Bismarck Cemetery.

KATHRYN V. STILLINGS
Services for Kathryn V. Stillings, 89, of Hot Springs who died Thursday, June
5, 1997, will be noon today at Oaklawn First Church of God with the Rev. Bob 
Madison officiating.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul Stillings, Tim Stillings, Kerry Hird,
Gregory Stillings, Marcus Hird and Church Leppert.
Honorary pallbearers are Verlin Anthony and the staff of Quapaw Healthcare.
Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
