PETE A BENNETT
	Pete Allan Bennett, 24, of Hot Springs died Thursday, Nov. 3, 1994, in a local 
hospital.
	He was born Nov. 3, 1994 **(has to be wrong year and possible month and day 
because this is the day he died, If he was 24 then he was probably born in 
1970) (BJS notes)  in Fort Smith.  A longtime resident of Hot Springs, he was a 
construction laborer and Methodist.
	Survivors include his wife, Cara Lea Bennett of Hot Springs; two sons, Sean 
Michael Bennett and Scott Bennett, both of Hot Springs; his mother, Beverly 
Jean Akin of Hot Springs; his father, Michael Fraser Bennett of Ohio; his 
stepfather, Carl Akin of Hot Springs; his stepmother, Norene Bennett of Fort 
Smith; two sisters, Michele Robinette of Mississippi and Carla Akin of Hot 
Springs; two stepsisters, Rachel Elizabeth Bennett of Ohio and Kimberly Ann 
Steward of Arkansas; two stepbrothers, Michael David Bennett and Christopher 
Luke Bennett, both of Ohio; his grandfather, E. R. Bennett of Fort Smith; his 
aunt, Gloria Ellingson of Minnesota; three uncles, Odie Ritchie and Del 
Ellingson, both of Minnesota, and Tom Kyle Bennett of Ohio; his father-in-law, 
David Wesley Wolfe of Hot Springs; his mother-in-law, Madelyn Carol Wolfe of 
Hot Springs; and sister-in-law, Cyndy Lynn Harmon of Arkadelphia.]
	Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
	Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
	Pallbearers will be Odie Ritchie, Kyle Robinette, Richard Boyd, Chuck Boyd, 
Mark Scott, Jason Lopez and Shane Portwood.
	Honorary pallbearers  are Dr. Thomas Hollis and staff of Doctor’s Clinic and 
Steve Harmon.
	The family will be at 200 Hamilton Oaks Drive, E-1.

HELEN R. SMITH with picture
	Helen R. Smith, 77, of Hot Springs died Friday, Nov. 4, 1994, at her residence.
	She was a retired homemaker and restaurant owner.  She was born in Egypt, 
Craighead County, and lived in Hot Springs since 1950.  She was the former 
owner and operator of Clark’s Café on Albert Pike and former longtime employee 
of the Tom Thumb Diner in Hot Springs.  She was a member of Rector Heights 
Baptist  Church and the church’s WMU.  She was predeceased by her husband, 
Lester L. Smith, and her grandson, Eddie Clark.
	Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Clarence Clark of Hot 
springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Gayle Smith of Hot Springs; one 
brother, Wilford Stidman of Ephrata, Washington; five sisters, Evelyn  Rigsbee, 
Juanita Harris and Jo Wuichet, all of Hot Springs, Mary Breckling of Little 
Rock and Sue Anderson of Wilbur, Washington; two granddaughters and their 
husbands, Elaine and Jim White of North Little Rock and Valli and John Wiggins 
of Memphis, Tennessee; and a grandson, Lettie A. Smith of Hot Springs.
	Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with 
the Revs. Jim Owen and Bill Keener officiating.
	Pallbearers will be nephews, Garland Wuichet, Clark Wesson, David Roark, Jim 
Breckliing, Reggie Cowan and Ronald Harris.
	Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Brad LeMay and his office staff, Dr. Kevin Hale, 
members of Rector Heights Baptist Church and the staff of Levi Hospital Program.
	Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
	Memorials may be made to Rector Heights Baptist Church.
	The family will be at 36- Lance Circle.

MAXINE McG. GLOVER
	MALVERN-- Maxine McGee Glover, 74, of Malvern died Thursday, Nov. 3, 1994.
	She was born Sept 8,, 1920.
	 She earned her bachelor’s degree from Henderson State University and master’s 
degree from the Univ. of Arkansas, Fayetteville.  She was a member of First 
Baptist Church and former Malvern High School Teacher.  She was a legal 
secretary, member of Gamma Alpha Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society 
International, past state PTA board, state officer, Woman’s Club and 
chairwoman, American Heart Association.
	Her church activities included assistant librarian, Sunday School teacher, 
Training Union leader and founding member and president, church-sponsored 
community organization for the retired.
	She was predeceased by her husband, Lawson Edward Glover Sr. and her grandson, 
Eddie Clark.
	Survivors include her mother, Pearl Lynch McGee of Malvern; two sons, Lawson 
E. Glover Jr. of Little Rock and David M. Glover of Malvern; and four 
grandchildren, Amy C. Glover, Christopher L. Glover, David P. Glover and 
Valerie M. Glover.
	Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church.
	Burial will be in Shadowland Cemetery, Malvern.
	Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church library.

	LODI -- Elsie lee White, 90, of Lodi died Fri., Nov.  4, 1994, in a Pike 
County hospital, Murfreesboro.
