Gertie Sanders, 85, of Hot Springs died Wednesday, March 23, 1994, at a
local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Hot Springs, she was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Otis Sanders, and two sons, Raymond
Sander and R. C. Sanders.
Survivors include two sons, Jim & Jan Sanders of Royal and Arvle & Martha
Sanders of Pearcy; four daughters and sons-in-law, Geraldine & Louis Lawler
of Hot Springs, Flora Mae & Vernice Hill and Norma & J. W. Johnson, all of
Royal, and Maxine & David Hanks of Dallas; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-
grandchildren; and a one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Gross Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Loyd Roper officiating.
Burial will be at Rush Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Morry Sanders, Jerry Lawler, Rick Hill,
Jackie Hill, Michael Tarvin, Mark Sanders, John Dodd and J. Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Martin A. Koehn, Dorothy Smith and the
Lakewood Convalescent Home Staff.
The family is at the Lawler residence, 489 Rush Fork Road.
Memorials may be made to Lakewood Convalescent Home.
