ARKADELPHIA -- Sarah Ellen Russell,  92, of Arkadelphia died Sunday, March
27, 1994, at her home.
She was born Oct. 13, 1901, in Okolona to Hugh Charles & Fannie Mae Muncie
Crawley.  She was a homemaker and member of Okalona Christian Church.  She
was predeceased by her husband, J. C. "Zib" Russell.
Survivors include four sons, Millard Russell, Dewey Russell and Howard
Russell, all of Arkadelphia, and H. C. Russell of Ventura, California; one
sister, Mattie Lou Howard of Okalona; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-
grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Gary Turner officiating.
Burial will be at Weir Cemetery in Okalona.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
