SIDNEY F. GARNER

Sidney Floy Garner, 59, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, June 29, 1978, in a 
Little Rock Hospital.
A Baptist and veteran of World War II, he was born here and worked as a
laborer. He was also employed for the E. V. P. A. for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Bell Garner, of Hot Springs; two
daughters, Peggy Stewart and Patsy Dishroon, both of California; a 
step-daughter, Norma Knaper, of Hot Springs; two brothers, John Garner and Rube 
Garner, both of Hot Springs; two sisters, Elnora Wilson and Izora Witherspoon, 
both of Hot Springs; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Garner, of Hot Springs; a 
half-brother, Toy Garner, of Hot Springs; a half-sister, Mrs. Georgia Rigsby, 
of Hot Springs; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Caruth Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers are Norman Schaffner, Mike Knaper, Randy Knaper, Ronald Garner,
Delvis Garner, and Delbert Garner.
Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery under the direction of Caruth Funeral
Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
