Kurt August Botzek, 81, of Hot Springs died Thursday, March 24, 1994, in
Hot Springs Village.
A native of Siemianowice, Germany, he was a resident of Hot Springs for 22
years.  He owned and operated pine Haven Resort for the past 22 yrs., was a
member of Who’s Who in the Republican Party and a life member of the
Republican Task Force.
Survivors include his wife, Erica Botzek of Atlanta; one son, Peter Botzek
of Chicago; one daughter, Sonja Striker of Dunwoody, Georgia; two sisters,
Christine Spencer of Hot Springs and Eva Reindl of Munich, Germany; and two
granddaughters, Linda and Karen Striker of Atlanta.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Gross Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Royall A. Yount officiating.
The cremains will be interred at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
