Viola Burneson, 101, of Hot Springs died Tues., Feb. 29, 2000, on a local
hospital.
Born June 30, 1898, in Mount Ida, she was a member of Grand Ave. United
Methodist Church and AARP. She was predeceased by two husbands, John
Freeman and John Burneson, and her parents, William and Laura Simpson
Alley.
Survivors include one brother-in-law, T.H. Smith of Hot Springs; one
sister-in-law, Dorry Alley of Everett, Wash.; one step-son; step-
grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Fri. at Gross Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Mike Smith, Mark Smith, Sam Tyson and Scott Carter.
Burial will be in Whittington Cemetery, Mount Ida.
