around 1962

MRS. VERA BAILEY
      Mrs. Vera H. Bailey, 68, a native and life
resident of Garland county, and died at a local
hospital.
      She was born Oct. 30, 1894.  She was a member of
the Royal Neighbors, United Daughters of Confederacy
and Park Place Baptist Church since 1918.
     She is survived by her husband, Bert L. Bailey,
Hot Springs; one son, Edward A. Bailey, Hot Springs;
two daughters, Mrs. Edna Huff, Hot Springs, Mrs. Edith
Smith, Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Harry Howard and
Sam Howard; two sisters, Mrs. J. I. Allman and Mrs.
Herbert Allman, and eight grandchildren, all of Hot
Springs.
     Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be
announced later by Caruth Funeral Home.
