This tombstone is a combination of two people, Charles Dearing son of 
William Dearing and Charles Franklin Dearing son of Benjamin Franklin 
Dearing.

the tombstone reads
Charles F. Dearing 
born
Oct 30, 1881
2 Dec 1897

It has a star in the center between the name and birth.
Charles F. Dearing was born Oct 30, 1861 and died Feb 10 1881
Charles Franklin Dearing was born October 30 1881 and died 2 December 1897

Additional Comments:
At the end of the grave is a small white stone that says C F D.  It is 
believed that the other Charles is buried there.
