Born at Parkin, he worked as a parts manager at Steve Jones Chevrolet at Wynne. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Alexander Jones of the home; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Jones of Wynne and Billy Joe Jones of Colt; a brother, Leon Jones of Cherry Valley; and three grandchildren, Harley Jones, Brett Jones and Tristan Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Loyd Jones and Lue Viennie Davis Jones, and brothers, Gerrie Lynn Jones, Walter "Bugs" Jones Sr. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Levesque Assembly of God under the direction of Kernodle Funeral Home of Wynne.
