William R. Vanhorn February 7, 1946, on page 7 Jonesboro Sun

Note:  This obituary erroneously lists Mrs. Margaret Smith as his
daughter.  William R. Vanhorn was a brother to Mrs. Margaret Vanhorn
Smith of Smithville.

William R. Vanhorn of Bunny Died Wednesday

William R. Vanhorn, 59, died Wednesday morning early at his home at
Bunny in the southeastern part of the county, following an illness with
complications.

The deceased was born in Missouri and had lived in the Bunny vicinity
the past forty years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nancy Vanhorn, four sons, Lee, and Raymond
Vanhorn of Bunny.  Virgil Vanhorn of Walnut Ridge and Ray Vanhorn of
Richmond, Cal., four daughrters, Mrs. Ella Hubbard, Black Oak, Mrs.
Beatrice Williams, St. Louis, Mrs. Ida Cundriff, Richmond, Cal., and
Mrs. Margaret Smith of Smithville, and seventeen grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Farmer Union Funeral Home but
are incomplete pending the arrival of relatives from distant points.
