My name is RaNae Smith Vaughn.  The following obituary is about the 
death of my great-aunt Mary Ann Smith Thompson in Craighead County.  
David Moore is listed as her son, but in reality, he is her grandson.

MONETTE Funeral services for Mary Ann Thompson, 89, of Monette who died
Friday, Oct. 19, at St. Bernard's Medical Center, were held at 3 p.m.
Saturday at Macey Cemetery with Bill Painter officiating.  Gregg 
Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of arrangements.

Formerly of Smithville, she was a homemaker and of the Free Will 
Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son, David Moore of Monette; two daughters, Deanna 
Mayes of Jonesboro and Lorene Moore of Paragould; seven grandchildren 
and five great-grandchildren.
