This was taken at the Old Lodge cemetery. Judge John Adam Esther was born August 1, 1827 in Roane Co., Tenn.,the son of Joseph and Mary (Smith) Easter. He was a vetran of the War of 1812,was a native of Randolph Co., N.C. Mary Smith was also a native of N. C. Additional Comments: Martha Ellen Easter, the daughter of Joseph Easter and Mary Smith is in this census. She was my g grandmother. 1860 JACKSON TWP - CROOKED CREEK P.O.
