WINIFRED (FREDDIE) WEST, a resident of Berryville, AR, was born December 24 1912
in Enid, OK, a daughter of Fred and Augusta (Nelson) Gensman. She departed this
life Thursday, January 1, 2009 in Berryville, AR at the age of 96.

Mrs. West was a member of the First Christian Church in Berryville. She was also
a member of C. W. F. (Christian Women's Fellowship). Freddie was a Berryville
Band Booster member and Bobcat Athletic Booster Club member and volunteered for
both. She was a homemaker and worked for Vol Brashears, Sr. at Brashears
Furniture Store helping in the office from 1934-1936.

She is survived by two daughters, Louise (West) and husband Don Rusterholz of
Berryville, AR and Ginger (West) and husband Hardie Jefferies of Ft. Smith, AR;
three sons, Brooke West and wife Linda, Robert West and wife Elaine, and Fred
West all of Berryville; nephew, Fred Meyers of Enid, OK; twelve grandchildren,
twenty one great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; several
cousins and a host of other family and many friends.

On September 10, 1934 she was united in marriage with Herbert Brooke West who
preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three
sisters, Ethel Gensman, Margaret Meyers and Mildred Gensman.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7:00 P. M. Friday, January 9, 2009 at the
Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral services will be 10:00
A. M. Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the First Christian Church with Reverend
John Turner and Reverend Judy Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the
Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service,
Inc. Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church Scholarship or
