John "Jack" Ralph Chenault went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 25, 2011. He
was born in 
Philadelphia, PA on July 1, 1920 to Robinson and Elizabeth Smith Chenault. Jack was
reared in Little 
Rock by Mary Jung Hoff and her daughters, Mamie and Minnie and later by his aunt,
Fredericka Clay 
Chenault Hoff and husband, Theodore B. Hoff. Jack graduated from Little Rock Central
High School. He 
enlisted in the United States Marine Corps before Pearl Harbor and served in combat
with the 2nd 
Marine Division at Guadalcanal, Tarawa and Saipan. He married Sarah Meek of Warren,
AR on March 8, 
1947. They removed their family to Dallas in 1958 and in 1983 retired in Little
Rock, AR. While in 
Dallas, Jack was a lumber salesman, pool-builder, remodeling contractor and weekend
farmer/ rancher. 
He was a Boy Scout leader and later in life carved beautiful birds, painted, and
tied flies. He is survived 
by his wife of 64 years, Sarah Meek Chenault, his son-John Chenault of Little Rock;
his daughter-Starr 
Chenault Bosch-etti and husband, Mike Boschetti of Little Rock, AR; son-Larry
Chenault of Dallas, TX; 5 
grand-children- Mic Boschetti, Becca Boschetti Redditt, Lissa Boschetti Gilder, Bo
Boschetti, Sarah 
Kathryn Chenault; 6 great-grandchildren- Chase Boschetti, Lane Gilder, Kate Gilder,
Jack Gilder, Allie 
Grace Redditt, Conley Redditt. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a 
wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Special thanks to Dr.
Kimberly Curseen 
and the wonderful care-givers at Arkansas Hospice and Fox Ridge Retirement/ Chenal.

services scheduled for 2pm, Monday, March 28, 2011 at Oakland Cemetery in Warren, AR
