RAY, Sam N.- {from Larue} Since our last writing God, in His infinite wisdom has 
seen fit to call from our midst, Sam N. Ray.  Mr. Ray was born December 2, 1881, 
died March 18 and has spent the greater portion of his life in or near Larue where 
he has a large circle of friends, who extend their heartfelt sympathy to his widow 
and three orphan children. [Rogers Democrat 3/25/1915]
 
{from Glade} Quite a few people from our part attended the funeral of Sam Ray who 
died March 18.  Funeral services were held at the Bland Cemetery by Rev. Caps and 
Rev. Allred.  The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
