JIMMIE MARTIN

Funeral services for Jimmie Dale Martin, 50, of Crossett, were held Monday, June 23, at 10
a.m. at Meridian Baptist Church with the Revs. Dan Webb and Rick Pyron officiating. Burial
was at Hickory Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funereal Home of Crossett.

Mr. Martin died Saturday, June 21, at his residence.

He was a deacon and church treasurer for Meridian Baptist Church and was on the executive
board for the Ashley County Baptist Association. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the
Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Kay Martin; one son, Brian Keith Martin of Crossett;
three daughters, Shana Kay Martin, Paula Rena Martin and Tanya Beth Martin, all of
Crossett; mother, Florence Grace Martin of Crossett; two brothers, Thomas L. Martin of
Auburn, Mich. and T. Glenn Martin of Magnolia; three sisters, Joyce E. Blocker of Bastrop,
La., Helen E, Robbins of Crossett and Deannie Johnson of Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were David Riles, Allen Jackson, Danny Jordan, Larry Goyne, Herman White and
Randy Smith.
